The Redesign

Kirman Design

Our customer came to us with online photos of a Kirman carpet, that had previously been sold on another website. With the images, we were able to recreate the design on the computer, allowing us to create maps for the weavers.

Once the CAD Image has been completed; we will break each section down to assist the customer in the color selection process. We have 600 colors available for selection.

Such beautiful details are coming to life!

Here you can see the close-up detail of our 9'x12' custom rug on the vertical loom.

 

You can see the warps that make up the fringe towards the bottom of the rug as well as seeing the knot nodes from the back side of the rug. Weavers will use a printed map, shown in the slideshow above, to show the colors and knot placement.
