About Kerdar Rugs:

Kerdar rugs are village made. They are single-wefted using a lightning pattern similar to those from Mazlaghan and Noberan. Similar rugs are also produced by the Shah Savan tribe and the Kakaberu tribe near Senneh. The Kakaberu tribe makes double-wefted goods that are easy to distinguish unlike those of Shah Savan.

Detailed Condition:

This Kerdar village rug is in excellent condition. It has soft, thick and even wool pile on a cotton foundation. The fringe on the ends and selvedge on the sides are in excellent condition as well. Soft, warm colors, bold design, quality wool and weave make this a great piece of art to be enjoyed for years to come.
